MED STUDENTS PROJECT

ARE YOU A THIRD-YEAR MEDICAL STUDENT?

Join us in fighting cardiac arrest

The project is designed by Pavia nel Cuore in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Pavia.

The aim is to train all the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Pavia with a a BLS/AED course every year!

In this way we will have a future generation of doctors trained in life-saving manoeuvres and we will increase survival from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest!

By joining the project you will be able to:

  • Become part of a robust and locally rooted volunteer organisation.
  • Acquire the title of BLS/AED Instructor issued by the “Federazione Italiana Arresto Cardiaco”.
  • Participate in all the association’s activities in favour of the community.
  • Teach life-saving skills to 3rd year students… and beyond!

The three compulsory meetings in which the informative course is divided will be held by Pavia nel Cuore Volunteers at the Headquarters in Via Orsi 1 in Pavia.

During the meetings, information will be provided on cardiac arrest, the history and activities of Pavia nel Cuore. The structure of the organisation will be presented and you will be introduced to the world of volunteering.

The meetings are free of charge.

Once you become a Pavia nel Cuore volunteer you will be able to take part in the 2-day Instructor Course held by the Italian Cardiac Arrest Federation Trainers!
